Allow me to end the suspense...

Aren't they sweet? Oh, such wonderful memories of those baby-days with my two beloved girls.

Emma

Annabelle

Sisters

And one more makes THREE!

That's right, we're having another GIRL! I thought I might be disappointed if Baby turned out not to be a boy... but I wasn't, not at all. A boy would have been wonderful, and fun, and so welcome for lots of different reasons-- and Lord willing, we may still get a boy someday-- but I find myself thrilled and elated at the thought of another precious girl, another sister for Emma and Annabelle. We're ALL thrilled, even Emma, who needed a little convincing since she didn't really think she "needed another little sister." Oh Emma.

I am pleased to report that our little girl is completely healthy and normal so far and everything looks great. Praise God! That is a gift in and of itself.
Thanks so much not only for your patience with me this afternoon (I know I've been terribly slow about posting this, so sorry), but also for all your gender guesses. It was SO FUN to see what everyone thought!! The final tally stands as such:
Total Guesses: 25
BOY: 15
GIRL: 10
So, to the 10 of you who guessed right, I'll draw your names soon and see who gets the little prize, which I will announce tomorrow! And to all you boy-guessers... well, sorry, but you were wrong. :) (although in all honesty I would have been right there with you too!)
I actually did a video to make the big announcement (thus the reason I took so long), but on watching it back I didn't like it and it was lame. This is much better, trust me.
Whee!! A girl!! Now to pick a name.... and start saving up for all those weddings...

CONGRATULATIONS! I think there is no greater gift than a sister...so two sisters for each of your girls will make it all the sweeter. Can't wait to hear your name choice.

Oh and I'm thinking of a girly blog name...you know to counter Band of Brothers...something like Suite of Sisters...lame I know, but you get the idea.

Oh TALIA!!! Congratulations to you, Jeremy and your precious little girls! I am so excited for you and can't help but think God picked such a biblical model of femeninity in you to mother 3 girls. What an example they have to follow! I don't know how I missed out on the voting, but this was a pleasant surprise!

Congratulations! I thought it would have been neat to have another girl too, with all of them being so close together in age. I can't wait to hear what cute names you come up with for this little one.

CONGRATULATIONS! How fun it will be to have 3 girls all close in age! I know you'll pick another darling and beautiful name for this little girl that will be perfect with Emma and Annabelle. I'm sorry Emma wasn't super thrilled with the idea of another sister, but I'm sure she'll warm up quickly as so many of her friends at church have or will have new baby sisters. :)

Oh Talia, CONGRATULATIONS on this WONDERFUL news. You have just enough girls to marry my boys, ha ha! Praise God for a healthy beautiful girl. From her ultrasound photo, she is just as stunning as your other 2 girls! God is good! And I have 2 sisters too and LOVE It!!!

if it makes you feel any better, more and more groom's folks are chipping in more these days...plus, simple quaint weddings seem more meaningful anyhow.

Another girl - how fun and wonderful that she is healthy! Are you quick name-pickers or do you have months of agonizing? We still don't have a girl name picked and the clock is ticking!

Three beautiful girls - how perfect is that? I'm so excited for you, my dear!

I grew up in a family of three girls (until years later when we adopted the other two) and it was just perfect. But perhaps I'm just a wee bit biased. Heehee.

Congrats to you and your hubby! I can't wait to "meet" the new addition!
