Case closed!

I am very happy to report that the Mystery of the Missing Bunny has been SOLVED. And by none other than Emma herself!
After two days of searching and driving myself crazy, I finally gave up this morning and decided Bunny would simply turn up when he turned up. Wouldn't you know, that was all it took (isn't that the way it always works). Not too much later, I heard Emma give a delighted squeal of "my bunny!!" from her room, and sure enough, there he was. I guess he was hiding all this time in a basket of Build-A-Bear clothes. I have no clue how or why or by whom he was put in there, and what's more, I could have sworn that I thoroughly checked that very basket... but it doesn't matter. The important thing is that Emma and Bunny are happily reunited at last.
Don't ever leave us again, Bunny. We missed you so.
happy happy joy joy

First of all: Emma, Bunny, and I would like to thank you all so much for your sweet interest in our little melodrama!!

As for Emma's shirt, that was an old one of mine (I know, can you believe I EVER fit into it a mere 2 years ago, even with some shrinkage???), and she LOVES to wear it to bed. There's something about one of my kiddos running around in an old favorite t-shirt of mine that makes me happy. :)

I'm so glad the mystery is solved! I can totally relate to Miss Emma and her darling Bunny (I love Bunny's name, BTW)...I love stuffed animals myself, especially my sock monkey that my mom made me. If Rosey ever disappears, I just don't know what I would do with myself. My husband has even learned that he is not to be mean to Rosey, or else!! =)

is it strange to admit that, in the middle of my day today, I'd actually wondered???

I'm glad you found the missing bunny! I'm often searching for Babito's missing "baby" (a bunny as well) when it's time to go to bed because he will NOT go into his crib without it.

Wow I can relate with her, I do that with my keys, purse, remote, and I have not been able to find my favorite black camisole for two weeks! And I do not want to get another because there is no way I could love it as much as this one! And it HAS to be somewhere!
