my little fashionista

What do you get when you combine
one cute little girl
two pink-striped hello kitty socks
a pair of blue sparkly shoes
one cowboy hat
and a leopard-print dress that is two sizes too small?

This!
Just a typical example of Emma's unique wardrobe stylings.
She's the queen of interesting combinations, and I simply love it.
ooh-la-la!!

Oh my goodness! I love it! Such the little fashionista!!! I can't wait to see when she grows up, if she'll still have such an awesome style? Maybe she'll become a designer! Regardless, this is so cute! I love it

If you could only hear my whistle!! Quite the fashion combination. By the smile on her face she is quite pleased with her choice too. Too cute for words, glad you captured this and shared. You go Emma!! Hugs

I am LOVING that precious little thing. Go you for encouraging her individual style! I'm also LOVING that dresser in the background, did you paint that??

Megan-- no, I didn't paint the dresser. I actually found it at an antique sale, just that color. I fell in love with it, of course-- AND it was only $90! :)

Talis, this picture really reminds me of a little girl Clay and I knew when we were dating. Her dad was Clay's college basketball coach and the youngest of 7 children. She would come to ballgames in the funniest and most "creative" outfits you ever saw. The other 6 children looked totally like J.Crew models. One day I hear the coach's wife talking about her daughter's wardrobe and she said that once she got to the 7th child, she asked herself if, in the scope of eternity, it really mattered! All I know is that it was always fun to look forward to seeing what she would be wearing at the next game!
