where oh where does the time go?

I can't believe it is already the end of the week. It went by so fast! There was just so much going on, so much busy-ness, so many things to do. It's after midnight now, and I'm quite pooped, but I just couldn't let another day go by without posting something. :) That, and I'm waiting on a load of laundry before I take my sleepy little self off to bed. Ah, laundry. Truly the never-ending chore!

Tomorrow we are off to LA to stay the night so we will be able to be at my brother Elijah's college graduation early Saturday morning. Again, I could ask "where does the time go?" It seems as if he was just a new college freshman yesterday, yet here he is graduating, four years later. My brother is a great guy in so many ways, and I'm so proud of him. It'll be really fun to spend a little time with him for this special event. And, I get to wear my new black and white summery dress! Bonus! (Ross Dress for Less was good to me today-- only $9.99, just what I was looking for.)

Next week, I will hopefully have more time to post. Sometimes though, I am learning, it is really nice to just sit back and let the thoughts develop, and to read and be blessed by others. Silence, even in the blogging world, can be a good thing from time to time.

Oh-- do you hear what I hear? My dryer is buzzing at me! That means I'm off to fold another basket and then.... bed. Lovely bedtime!

I hope each and every one of you has a great weekend! :)

Have a wonderful trip! Please have Jeremy take a picture of you in your new dress so we can see it. :) Your Tasty Tuesday was missed but I completely understand when time flies away. I know you'll post when you can!

Your dress sounds CUTE! What a deal! I need to go check out Ross, I haven't been there in forever. Can't wait to see pics of your weekend! Congrats to your brother for graduating! I like your analysis of how even silence in the blogging world can be a good thing and being blessed by others... I never thought of it that way!
