*sits down, dusts off this poor neglected blog, and begins to type*
I can't believe it's been THREE weeks since I last blogged. What.... how did.... I don't.... just.... GOOD GRIEF, that went by quickly.
But.... today is my birthday. This is good news for a few reasons. 1) I have a legitimate excuse to eat more dessert. 2) My birthday always marks the end of our crazy holiday/birthday season and all the busy-ness that goes along with it all. Mid-December through my birthday is just nuts. Nuts, I tell you! But. Today is January 11th. And now you know what that means. It means that the mad dash is over. It means that I can breathe again. It means that I'm back!
Go ahead and take a minute to rejoice. I know how much you must have missed me. wink wink, smile. Truth be told, I missed all of you too, quite a lot, and I'm so excited to jump back into blogging and do my best to catch you all up on all of the goodness that has gone on around here. I've got a list of posts as long as my arm (don't worry, it won't be that many, as I actually have relatively short arms), and I'm just itching to write!
And what better way to dive back into blogging after the holidays than to share with you all our Christmas card?
I would have shared it sooner, but, they didn't all get sent out till about a week ago. Every year this happens. sigh. Hopefully everyone I sent to has gotten it by now and I'm not taking away any of the fun of ripping open that envelope :)
I'm not going to lie, I absolutely love love LOVED our card this year. It makes me smile every time I look at it.
See? It's just so perfectly us. But I must give credit where credit is due.
